About wolves
Why wolves need our protection
Trophic Cascade
Where wolves live, everything changes: rivers, forests, animal populations. Scientists call it a "Trophic Cascade".
Family bonds
Wolves live in tight family units with clear roles — and would give their lives for the pack.
Homeward navigator
Wolves navigate hundreds of kilometres back to their pack — through magnetic fields, scent, and memory.

FAQ
Adopting a wolf — questions
How do I adopt a wolf?
Pick your animal on aninu.de, give it a name, pay €24.99 once. You'll get the certificate and GPS tracking access in the aninu app instantly. No subscription, no contract.
Does the GPS tracking really work live?
In the aninu app you see your animal's position on the map. It is updated every day, and you also see the route your animal has travelled.
How is this different from WWF, NABU, or Geschenkbaum?
Classic wildlife sponsorships = donation + certificate, no specific animal. aninu = you adopt a specific wolf, name it, follow it via GPS. No subscription, one-time €24.99. Geschenkbaum has no GPS tracking.
Can I gift a wolf adoption?
Yes. You'll get a digital certificate as PDF instantly — print it or forward by email. One of the most-given gifts at aninu: personal, sustainable, no physical shipping needed.
