About tigers
Why tigers need our protection
World's Largest Wild Cat
Amur tigers can weigh up to 300 kg and measure 3.3 metres — the most powerful predators of the boreal taiga.
Vast Territory
A single Amur tiger controls a range of up to 2,000 km² — and fiercely defends it against rivals.
Fewer Than 600 Remain
Amur tigers once teetered on the edge of extinction. Today only 500–600 survive in the wild — every individual counts.

FAQ
Adopting a tiger — questions
How do I adopt a tiger?
Pick your animal on aninu.de, give it a name, pay €24.99 once. You'll get the certificate and GPS tracking access in the aninu app instantly. No subscription, no contract.
Does the GPS tracking really work live?
In the aninu app you see your animal's position on the map. It is updated every day, and you also see the route your animal has travelled.
How is this different from WWF, NABU, or Geschenkbaum?
Classic wildlife sponsorships = donation + certificate, no specific animal. aninu = you adopt a specific tiger, name it, follow it via GPS. No subscription, one-time €24.99. Geschenkbaum has no GPS tracking.
Can I gift a tiger adoption?
Yes. You'll get a digital certificate as PDF instantly — print it or forward by email. One of the most-given gifts at aninu: personal, sustainable, no physical shipping needed.
