What others say
From real aninu sponsors
“I check every day”
Every day I'm excited to see where my animal goes next and how far it travels. From the routes you can tell when the lion goes hunting. I've gifted two adoptions and kept one for myself.
“My grandchild wanted a shark”
My grandchild really wanted a shark. She keeps checking where her shark is right now — a wonderful thing.
“Not the last adoption”
Watching the penguin is huge fun. When I had a question, I got help quickly. This certainly isn't the last adoption I've gifted — and there'll be some for myself too.

Seal sponsorship with live tracking – follow your seal live on the map!
Every sponsorship gives you access to an interactive GPS tracking map – see the route of your seal live, day by day. Give it a name, get to know its story and follow it through the Wadden Sea off Germany’s North Sea coast. 🦭
✅ What you get with your adoption:
- 🧭 Live tracking experience – a new position on the map every day
- 📜 Digital sponsorship certificate for instant download
- 🦭 Personal access with the name and story of your seal
- 📍 Live map with current movements & locations
- ♻️ Contribution to species protection with every sponsorship
💡 Why your sponsorship matters:
The harbour seal almost disappeared from Germany’s North Sea coast twice: first through hunting, then through two distemper epidemics in the 1980s and 2000s that each wiped out more than half the population. Today around 40,000 harbour seals live in the Wadden Sea again – Europe’s largest population and a UNESCO World Heritage Site right on our doorstep.
Their habitat remains fragile: pups are born on sandbanks that are flooded with every tide. With your sponsorship you stand up for a piece of wilderness that is closer than most people think.
