Terms and conditions for the “aninu Year Package” giveaway
This translation is provided for information. The German version is legally binding.
1) Organiser
The giveaway is organised by Florian Gansmeier, Achwaldstraße 4d, 80999 Munich, Germany, email: hello@aninu.de (hereinafter “aninu”).
2) Entry period
The giveaway runs from 17 September 2026, 00:00 until 26 September 2026, 23:59 (CEST). Entries count as on time if the confirmed sign-up (see section 4) has reached aninu by then.
3) Eligibility
Natural persons aged 16 or over who reside in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France or Spain are eligible. Entries must be made in person; one entry per person. Persons involved in running the giveaway are excluded.
4) Entry and newsletter sign-up
You enter via the sign-up form on aninu.de/gewinnspiel by providing your first name and email address and accepting these terms. You will then receive an email with a confirmation link. Your entry is only valid once you click this link (double opt-in), at which point you are included in the draw.
Entering the giveaway is linked to signing up for the aninu newsletter: by entering, you also consent to receiving newsletters with offers and news from aninu by email. Entry and newsletter sign-up form a single offer; the newsletter consent is the consideration for the chance to win (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in every email or by writing to hello@aninu.de; unsubscribing after the entry period ends does not affect an entry that is already valid.
Entry is free. No purchase or other payment is required to enter, and it does not increase your chances of winning.
5) Prizes
The following prizes are drawn among all confirmed entrants:
- 1st prize — the aninu Year Package: four plushies of your choice, each including an animal adoption (redeemable spread over the year; this is a one-off gift, not a subscription), the digital Advent Journey (24-day experience in the aninu app) and a bracelet set.
- 2nd and 3rd prize — one adoption set each: one plushie of your choice including animal adoption and one bracelet.
Prizes cannot be paid out in cash, exchanged or transferred to other persons. Any shipping costs for physical components within the eligible countries are borne by aninu.
6) Determination and notification of winners
After the entry period ends, the winners are determined at random among all confirmed entrants and notified by email at the address provided within seven days. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the claim lapses and a substitute winner may be drawn. Winners are only named publicly with their express consent.
7) Data protection
aninu processes the data provided when entering (first name, email address) solely to run the giveaway, to notify winners and — based on the consent given when entering — to send the newsletter. The data is not passed on to uninvolved third parties. We use the service provider Klaviyo to deliver the newsletter. Our privacy notice applies in addition. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and withdrawal.
8) Early termination and changes
aninu reserves the right to change, interrupt or end the giveaway in whole or in part for good cause (e.g. technical faults, manipulation, legal reasons) where this is objectively necessary.
9) Liability
aninu is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the breach of material contractual obligations and to foreseeable, typical damage.
10) No connection to social networks
The giveaway is in no way connected to Instagram, Facebook/Meta, TikTok or any other platform and is neither sponsored, endorsed nor administered by them.
11) Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
