Tiere werden auf verschiedene Arten getrackt. Eine gängige Methode ist das Satellitentracking, bei dem Satellitensender an den Tieren befestigt werden. Es tut den Tieren weder weh, noch stört es sie. Die Sender senden Signale an Satelliten im Orbit, die dann an Empfänger auf der Erde weitergeleitet werden. Dadurch können Wissenschaftler und auch du die Bewegungen und den Standort der Tiere in Echtzeit verfolgen.
